What you need to know

Here are a few things you should know about the course.

Registration- You do not need to register for Module 1, but registration is required to access Modules 2-4 and to use the interactive tools. Click here if you would like to register now.

Navigation- Click "Next" at the bottom of each page to advance or "Back" to return to the previous page.

Returning- If you would like to take the course in more than one sitting, as long as you have registered when you return to the course and login, you will find a link to the place where you left off on the "My Toolkit" page.

Sound- The course includes a number of short videos that require speakers. If you do not have speakers, just press "NEXT" and move to the next section.

Interactive Tools-The course contains a number of interactive tools that are designed to help you assess how you currently engage people 50+ and think about ways you can enhance your offerings. Forms can be completed on line or printed out. Click SUBMIT when you have completed the form online and it will appear in your toolkit.

Comments- Throughout the course you will have many opportunities to share YOUR thoughts and experiences with others. Just put your ideas in the text boxes on the COMMENTS pages and click POST COMMENT.

Bookmarks- If there is a page you would like to bookmark for easy reference later, click the "click to bookmark" link at the bottom of the page. A link to that page will then appear in the "My Bookmarks" section of your toolkit.

Toolkit- Once you have registered, you will see a link to your toolkit page. Here you can view, edit or print your interactive tools, find your bookmarks and find links to any comments you may have added to the course.

Print- Any text page can be printed by clicking the PRINT button at the bottom of each page.

Certificate of completion- In order to receive a certificate that acknowledges your completion of the course, please fill out the short questionnaires that appear at the end of Modules 2,3 and 4. A certificate will be automatically generated after you submit the final part of the survey.
